Tony Eijk's muzikanten archief

8-Bit Rockers - from northern Finland, fresh sounding electro, a little bit of Doppler effect, some more legowelt influences and a hell lot of Nintendo. This kid used to be addicted to computer games and that's just what we keep hearing in this music. Sami Suomi Super Mario!

Beverly Hills 808303 - Hard and hectic acidic techno, pulsating chicken-brain stimuli, very primary and very raw hardcore acid, basic to the bone, classic! Obscurantism at its best!

BS1 - Alienating industrial twistedness with strange techno beat, wacky!

Dr Dudu - Slow soundtrack gangsta funk electro that reminds me of 70's school television documentaries.

Duracel - A Unit Moebius spin-off, slow and depressive electro-bass funk, typical dark off-beat robot music that reveals a certain paranoid and fatigued attitude towards humanity in general. The anxious beat rasps difficultly through your neurons, while you realise it's an unpleasant never-ending story. Here's a rope around your neck!

Funkstörung/Musik aus Strom - Long before they got famous with their Autechre/Aphex Twin styled crazyness of industrial ambient techno, they made manic industrial techno, primitive acid tracks and raw electronic beat for the Acid Planet, hard and crazy industrial spheres, basic lo-tech, but nevertheless..... effective!

funkstörung

Funkstörung Interview @ Forcefield.orgwww.funkstorung.de

The Get It Boys - The Hagues premier and most supreme La Haia Bass team. Imagine hundreds of lil' girls in tight track suits, doing the Double Dutch in a giant sports-hall, jumpin' up and down, aowh!

Godzilla vs. Metalhead - A coöperation between Funkstörung and Sulphur Surfer in their younger days, result: dark alienating industrial techno in an obscure lo-fi production.

Hybrid Systems - Another Mononom mamber, fast industrial darkcore mindfuck. Tension in monotony, the evil bastard enemy is within! You'll never see the light again!

IMP Electronics For Defense - Unit Moebius pre-decessor (pre-Amiga 500) when there were only lousy old tape recorders (found on the street!) available to work with. Very alienating, very deep organic ambient soundscapes, lik you're in a small, dark and hot stuffy room on a bad acid trip that just goes on and on. Mean as hell! Everything starts to move, as the mantra continues.

Interr-Ference/I-F - The other godfather of Acid Planet The Hague. Grinding acidic techno, dark heavy bass and evil hard-pounding industrial planet rock/electro-bass funk, catchy riffs that rock hard! Tension, fear and true soul, the industrial blues for the red-sun techno-wave generation. Apocalyse now!

Kapotte Tractor - Member of the Mononom soundsystem crew, dark industrial hardcore techno, fast and very intense, a giant mean machine coming to get ya...

Legowelt - Cruisin' down the scheveningen beach boulevard in your mercedes, you'll find yourself back into the 80's of Moroder, Patrick Cowley, Divine, Italo Disco, Kraftwerk, New Wave, New Order, Technopop, Electric Boogie, Robot/breakdance and most of all: into the soundtrack of a good ol' German krimi-series. Niemal wieder!

Interview with legowelt & orgue electronique @ globaldarkness

Luke Eargoggle - Deep, dark and slow, a black hole encroachment of your mind! Empty cold pametex-style electro from the nordic territories, a sinister film noir movie soundtrack, chillin'!

Monolith - Slow minimalistic industrial techno, very monotonous, very atmospheric, very dark.

Mononom - The Dutch version of SP23, but darker, fast industrial atmosphers with dark clouds above heavily polluted soundscapes, very intense, very hard!

Nimoy - Ex-Unit Moebius, from monotonous industrial techno mantras to Kraftwerk-techno wave electro, he can do it all!

The Novamen - The ultimate reincarnation of Hashim mixed with Kraftwerk and Afrika Bambaataa, way cool oldschool electro-funk, and feel that bass, how low can you go!

Nukubus - Deep bass electronics, strange and bizarre atmospheres, the neo-futuristic electro funk form the NUtteloze KUt BUrger.

www.nukubus.com

Orgue Electronique - More Mercedes, more Deutsche krimi. With his minimalistic and raw electro-funk Orgue Electronique creates the minimum for the maximum! But when O.E. is together with Legowelt you'll get the ultimate mixture of La Haia Coca Disco and Kraftwerk-wave pop, a total flashback of your worst teenage school parties, the unpleasant experience of everybody's having fun but me.

Interview with legowelt & orgue electronique @ globaldarkness

Overdose - From the DBF crew, the kings of La Haia Bass, more oldschool styled electro-bass funk. Low, lower, lowest!

Ra-X - The king of industrial lo-fi techno and distorted hardcore electro-bass, hard, heavy, pounding planet rock, screaming hysteria, panic and terror from the dark industrial bass machine, raw ass fuck!

Ray Cosmic - A sort of slow industrial La Haia Bass soundtrack music for the police series Streets of The Hague!

Rude 66 - From deep atmospheric soundtrack acid to sharp minimalistic industrial techno and dark industrial electro-funk, all with that dystopian edge of new wave-futurism. The bass is dark!

MORE ABOUT RUDE66

Schmerzlabor - More dark industrial planet rock electro bass, hard and heavy rockin', balls knockin' soulcrushin', mindfuckin', oh yeah!

SP23 - Godfathers of the European techno crusty travellers scene and with their Spiral Tribe instigators of the international Teknival Network 23. Hard and fast industrial acid, dark speedcore techno, bad drugs and too much diesel in your lungs.

$tinkworx - Somewhere in between Drexciya with cheesy casio- synths, ol' CHICAGO deep house, DETROIT metroplex tecno, freaky Daftpunk elecro-disco and '80's Italo, this sound is both moody and warm and negro-swingin', but crazy and twisted at the same time! From down south of the U.S.A.!

Sulphur Surfer - Another Unit Moebius spin-off, very dark, very industrial, a slow-death metal-techno doom machine, raw atavistic primitive life-form (im)pulses for the degenerated reptilian brain, encoded warning signals for an endangered species in fear of being usurped. Ape shall kill ape! Far out!

Syncom Data - Slow and spherical electro-funk this stuff is visualising science fiction cyberpunk novels like Philip K. Dick's Bladerunner or William Gibson's Neuromancer. The perfect film-noir soundtrack.

Technician - From the DBF crew. Tight and spherical, thrilling Kraftwerkian electro-funk, for the robot music fantasy...

TLR - Bunker Team DJ

Listen to Live Mixes

Unit Moebius - Starting as Europe's only true answer to Underground Resistance, the godfathers of The Hague's industrial techno/planet rock scene, evolved gradually from deep alienating lo-fi acid house and crazy rigid jack trax (mixing the best of the Detroit and Chicago styles) to hard poundingdark industrial techno, freaky techno funk pop and mean minimalistic machine music. Raw primitive production and sound (the first 7 albums were recorded on a nearly-broken cassette recorder - it was all they had!), very diverse in style, but always with that typical twisted, paranoid and fucked-up drive, a bad sweaty groove that feels like a mindfuck; all records are considered cult-classics! Life is a wave-form!

X-plain - Oldschool acidic techno (Detroit style), atmospheric, deep, minimal machine funk futurism.
